Day 5 Sketch 01
Day 5 - Unfortunately, due to the weather, boat trips were limited this year. A few people got to go to Fidra but I'd been the previous year so skipped this time. Today was the best weather forecast for the week so we headed off early to St Abbs to make the most of it. I was delighted to find a spot near the lighthouse gate where I felt safe enough away from the cliff edge but could look down with my scope onto the stack with gannets and guillemots. I was too far away to see any detail but there was plenty to keep me occupied. As I drew more I realised what great abstract shapes they made and I was happy all day working on different compositions
